Hello, my love!
You ready for the NYE big party tonight? 😃🥂✨
HA! I’m about to get started but wanted to send you this note about:
I mentioned in my last email how I don’t believe in NYs resolutions. That “new year, new me” kind of thing.
However I do completely believe in having goals.
And if you do so as well you are getting ready for the new ones for 2023, ya?
👉🏼 Here’s one little thing to ask yourself before defining each one of your goals:
🔥What do you want to experience?
Meaning if you want to experience more freedom this coming year, what are things that are making you feel trapped right now?
Let’s say you are a coach or consultant and the inconsistent or “open for all” type of scheduling makes you tied up to client calls. And then everything else – personal life included! – has to be organized around that.
You can make a plan of action to place clear boundaries for your scheduling, putting all your clients on specific days only.
👉🏼 You goal then? to have them all transitioned and sorted by the end of February .
💎🔑 The key here is to create goals based on what you want to experience and feel in your life.
Because the motivation behind it is different. It actually exists! And with motivation, the likeliness of sticking with the goal until it is accomplished is greater.
A random goal just to “make up” for all that wasn’t accomplished the year before is not motivating. Worse, there might even be a heaviness or disappointment or a “must do to prove I can” feeling around it. That is heavy and yucky. Not surprisingly we easily fall off track on those ones as they feel like “work” or a punishment for not getting it “right” the other years.
💥Focus on experiences and how you want to feel within those experiences.
👉🏼 And from there find the right goals that will get you there.
ok, love wishing you a freaking AMAZING NYE and I see you again in 2023! 🤩
