*THE* one and only Weekly/ Daily Calendar!!!!

creativity, planners | 44 comments

Hello, hello!

Here I am again, bubbly in excitement to share with you a new creation.

Ready? 😀

I present you….

A hand-painted weekly/daily insert!

The weekly and daily pages are designed to work together so this is NOT a straight-forward “download-print-whole-punch-and-I-am-good-to-go” kind of thing.

It requires a bit {just a bit!} of set-up.

I was supposed to do a video to explain that.
I got so excited showing how it works that I totally forgot to explain how to set it up :-p and just realized it after the video was all pretty and done on YouTube.
Anyway, the instructions are typed in below the video, with pictures.

IT IS NOT HARD! I PROMISE! 🖖🏼

Just needs to be done to get it working right.

So, ready for the video presentation? 😀

Let’s do it then! {links to download and instructions right below the video}

the very easy instructions:

So, once you download the week pack, whole punch and put in your binder, the very first page will look like this:

The last one like this:

The middle ones (dailies) will look like this:

All you need to do is to separate the outside pages (goals and debrief) from the inside ones (dailies).
Grab only the middle ones, like this:

You will see a dotted black line right on top of the menu sheet:

Then…..Cut right there thru the dotted line!

I used scissors on my first tries but sure thing an Exacto knife will do a much better and accurate job!

Remember:

***DO NOT CUT THE FIRST AND LAST PAGES!***

You will end up with this:

The top frames are now separate from the rest.
You can use it as jot paper in your binder although as they are held by only two rings, they get very loose and messy. I use them as {cute} scrap paper.

Wherever you decide to do (keep or toss them), take them all out of the rings otherwise it won’t work!

And then, taaa-daaaaa:

You will now have your week and daily sheets all together and visible like this:

This printable is available for purchase on my shop.

Click right here to get it in Personal or A5 Size.

Any questions let me know in the comments.
Have loads of fun peeps!

Smooches,

These look amazing!!! I love the weekly view along with each day! I’ve had several people ask me if I know of daily and weekly pages together, I will be sure to direct them to yours. I still think you should be charging people money for these!! They are beautiful.

I was one of the people who asked Laurie if she knew where to find such a lay-out! I am beyond thrilled! This is so awesome! Thank you so much for sharing this, I truly feel this is going to make a difference for me in keeping up with all my appointments, to-do’s and goals. And I love your video!

Thank you, thank you, thank you! These are beyond amazing. I’ve seen a lot of plans for having the week and day visible together, most involving messy fold-outs. This is so simple and beautiful.

You are super-welcomed Mary Ann! I had never seen a week/day together. Good thing I didn’t see the fold out ones. I may had settle for them and never created my own design! 😀

You don’t happen to have this in the Filofax Pocket size do you?

This is a great idea – something I’ve wanted for a long time without realizing there could actually be a solution like yours!!

Hi Sarah! I unfortunately do not have it for pocket size, but some people used the A5 file to print into pocket size pages. Maybe that would work for you too? 🙂

    THIS IS SO BRILLIANT!!!!!!!…!!!!

Now, if only printing on personal size pages and I got along…! I will definitely look at the file (and drool…). At some point I may end up asking some nice Philofaxy person who *can* print on personal size paper if they will do it for me and I will pay them! But right now I have weekly pages.

I managed to print your monthly pages, but my failed attempts are almost as numerous as the monthly pages!

Hi there, they are very big files, so it takes a while to show up on the screen. Mine stays black for a looong time.
But email me at limetreefruits at gmail dot com and I will send to you as an attachment. 😉

I absolutely love these. I like having a colorful Filofax but stickers and doodles tend to take up too much space on the weekly pages. And I too was having printing issues until I found the booklet option on my printer 🙂 and a lot of work cutting them all out 🙂 but still worth all the work to have these beautiful pages.

I am SO enjoying your monthly and weekly/daily layout!! Thank you for sending them out to everyone and making them so delicious to look at. I am now completely enjoying my Filofax Chameleon A5 ( in Red) with an entire book of your artwork. I am also incredibly thrilled to see how effective your weekly/daily system worked. I too struggle with the fact that I need to always see a weekly view and a daily view simultaneously, in order to organize more effectively. Thank you for creating it because I’ve NEVER seen anything like it. I also want to thank you for making it free for us to use, your work is needed and fully appreciated!

    hi Limetree
i am new, i am enjoying your site so much.
i have to get better organised. your weekly/daily planner is inspiring me. i am thinking for my work, i need to break the goals down into achievable tasks/activites.
your model could be adapted as above. i could have in place of week outline, change that to printed goal 1 etc.
then below that would be the tasks. i think this would work for me….just have to see how i could do it….have you any ideas of doing something like this…or suggestions!!! would love to hear, hope my comments are clear.
    thanks

Hello, I just wanted to say a HUGEEEE thank you for these gorgeous printouts you shared with us! I carry a brown personal cuban filofax and it has my life in it. I would be lost without it! I have now added some gorgeous colour with the weekly/daily pages. (You’re right… You’re a genius! 🙂 ) Thank you again. Sara

HELP! I just bought a new color printer (cheapie) and it doesn’t have a manual double side print option! for the life of me I can NOT figure out how to print this properly! 🙁

I’ve figured it out. It’s taken me a while, but I had to print each 1/4 page one by one, then scan it into the printer so that I could print odd pages and then even pages to get them double sided properly.

WELL worth it though. I love my planner now!

I love this!! I’ve been looking for a system and I think this might be it. I just can’t do a week on two pages like other people. This will eliminate the meal planning section of my planner too.

So today my daughter and I are playing at the desks in my office and she says, “Mom? Where can I find a really ‘complete’ weekly planner that lets me see the view of the week while still seeing the goals for the day? I was really poking around on your site and had just clicked on your weekly planner. At first glance, I thought you were making a mistake with cutting off the top portion of the panels, but, no! It was genius again! My daughter and I are officially totally dedicated fans. She and I both love the weekly recurring page! I can use that as a sticky note, or I can place it in the planner as I plan each week. Yep! You are a genius and you should be charging for these things!

First, I want to say thank you for these freebies, it’s simply amazing !
I always struggled wether I needed a one day per page or a one week on 2 pages. I kept going with one and then with the other. And then I saw your weekly planner, and it’s just perfect ! I can still see my week in one glance and plan my day more precisly !
So thank you again it’s so helpful 🙂
